He is described as "the legendary naturalist", he is famous and reknowned. His new book and a Netflix documentary  "A Life on Our planet - My Witness statement and a Vision for the future" will be released on October 1.2020. He is 94 year old Sir David Attenborough.



How has he coped with the strange times we are experiencing now - the Coronavirus pandemic and lockdown. "I've certainly spent more time in my garden listening to birds than I have for a very long time," he said in an exclusive interview with BBC Breakfast. "A lot of people have suddenly realized what deep, profound joy can come from witnessing the rest of the world - the natural world." 

There was another moment of "profound joy" for the famous man who "feels privileged that young people should listen to what an old bloke like me is talking about." This, he said, in response to his debut on Instagram last week, when a million followers quickly responded to him on the issue of climate change. 

Another person also had a moment of great joy because of Sir David - young Prince George son of Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and Princess Kate. He recieved a gift - something ancient, very ancient indeed,"millions of years old."

It was a fossilized giant tooth from an extinct shark, carcharocles megalodon.

Sir David had found the tooth a long time ago - in the 1960s - during a family holiday in Malta. So just prior to a private viewing of his new documentary hosted by Prince William, he gave the object to the child. "The young prince looked captivated as he handled the tooth," the report said. 

Sir David was pleased.

       FLAVAINE CARVALHO SAVES CHILD FROM ABUSE   It was New Years Day 2021 and Flavaine Carvalho , a waitress at Mrs. Potato restaurant in Orlando, Florida was busy taking orders. A family of four settled into their place at a nearby table and the adult male signaled that they were ready to place their order. Flavaine took their order and walked away toward the kitchen.   Sometime after she served the family she noticed that no food was placed before the boy (who she figured was about 11 years old.) He loved its seas, and its mountains.  He kayaked westward across the vast Atlantic Ocean, all by himself and under his own power - the last time in 2017 when he was 70 years of age.
